epoxy head decivers part 1

back to enjoying working on epoxy headed decivers these flies are tied on 6/0 hooks and come in at 5 inchs +

hi ken yea agree there i was using loon hard head for a while but have gone back to using epoxy in tubes as i get more flies out of it and i find it easier to use ...tight lines buddy

i love deceivers....but i tend to tie them a bit more sparse....and i use Fletch Tite for the head and eyes....

hi rob i like to tie them quite thick to get a better baitfish shape in the the water so the pike think there getting a good meal also with more bucktail it will put out more vibration in the water which sometimes can give you that edge if the pike is only thinking about knobbling it, the extra bit of sonic signal can and often does get the fish to attack , if i was fishing saltwater id probably tie a bit more sparse to get that sandeel shape ...tight lines mate
